Don't some birds vomit to feed their young? So this bird is just preparing the meal so it's nice and ready when it gets home!

Metro 2033 redux and COD WaW custom zombies. Haven't been in a big gaming mood recently and want something easy and fun. I enjoy the short chapters and fun gameplay and world building of the Metro games, this is my second playthrough. COD custom zombies is just fun and relaxing when playing easy maps and you can stop at any time

I recently started learning and playing poker, and I mostly play with fake money. Here's what I've used so far:

Pokerstars and GGPoker both have fake money options that you can play without depositing money. I used Pokerstars for a while as it was the only client I could get working on Linux (using bottles). They both have good mobile apps. I prefer GGPoker's interface so I've been using my Windows dual boot to play that when I want to on my computer.

Poker Brawl is a phone app where you can play correspondence heads-up poker with an ELO rating system. It's correspondence , so you only have to make a move once every three days. It's heads-up only, though.

I've found playing on real poker platforms with fake money to be best in terms of somewhat emulating real poker in terms of player behavior.

Feel free to comment with any questions and I'll try to help

It also doesn't have an algorithm, which would make it difficult to find content you want when there are loads of creators

I agree. However, to me, something feels wrong about companies making money selling a product to people with the promise that they work when they don't actually do anything in and of themselves. It's false advertising plus taking money out of people's pockets.

it's pretty common to call twinks "half's"

That is a brilliant typo

It's not split in half, it's reversed, which is why both are equal to S. If you just took half, then 1 + 2 + ... would not equal 100 + 99 + ... and so they both wouldn't be equal to S.

Instead of halving the list, they just reversed it and summed it to 2S later, which they then half. So no typo here.

She was his wife at the time but they've since divorced

Yeah it's tricky. Using "female" as a noun in a non-biological context is often used by incels and misogynists in order to dehumanise women. Whereas there isn't the same trend of certain groups using "male" to dehumanise men, or at least I've never heard of it happening in real life.

In a vacuum, both would be the same, but because there is a much larger trend of using "female" to dehumanise women than using "male" to dehumanise men, it's not a true double-standard.

And as long as you're not being a dick, especially if English isn't your native language, then people will know what you mean. But if you are consciously trying to make an effort, then don't use "female" and "male" as nouns to refer to someone's gender.

Mine is OOO for Out Of Office. I always misread it in my head like a ghost and it takes me a few seconds to process. It also doesn't translate to speech—you have to say the whole thing.

Interested to see if others have similar acronyms they beef with.
