people doing more work is actually more expensive because human time is by far the biggest cost for most businesses

A test of AI for Australia's corporate regulator found that the technology might actually make more work for people, not less.

Hopefully this is the sort of reception the US occupiers will receive all across the world going forward.

And this opinion of yours is based on what exactly?

I mean we're now at the point where there really isn't much difference between phones hardware wise, and Huawei is indeed far cheaper than the iPhone https://versus.com/en/apple-iphone-15-pro-vs-huawei-mate-60-pro

Another big factor is that the app ecosystem centres on meta apps like wechat that have a lot of combined functionality. That makes the actual underlying OS less important to the user since they do everything in the app anyway.

Given that Huawei has been eating Apple's market share in China, I'd say they're already upstaging them.

Plenty of polls were done after USSR fell and scumbags who took power tried to prove how terrible it was. The majority of the USSR never shared your sick views. Meanwhile, it's absolutely hilarious how you pretend your capitalist paradise has no repression while UK jails people for tweets and French police brutally assaults protesters every single day. And of course, Poland is going back to its fascist roots now that your ilk is in charge. You deserve everything that's coming to you.

EU effectively ended up sanctioning itself. This is a great illustration of how materialism once again beats idealism.

At the end of the day the US doesn't see Russia as a primary threat, and they lack the resources to both fund NATO and threaten China. With the war in Ukraine having been lost, I expect that the US will leave Europe to deal with the fallout and refocus on Asia. If the war achieved its goals of accomplishing a regime change in Russia or even Balkanizing it, then it would be a different story. The US would absolutely invest into NATO to surround China from the west at that point. However, now that Russia has come out stronger, it would just be throwing good money after bad from US perspective.

Pretty much every poll shows that majority of people were perfectly fine living in USSR, and polls show that majorities of people who lived through the collapse agree that life was better during Soviet times. But there will always be people like your family. People like your father were a cancer destroying the society.

Turkey absolutely likes to play both sides, but I can't see how NATO survives without the US being committed to it. Meanwhile, the US has to pick its battles because it can't be everywhere at once. And China is now a far bigger concern for US than Europe is.

I mean we already have plenty of spent nuclear fuel from regular powrplants, so that boat has already sailed.
