that way a feature phone is needed. amoled isn't for under sunlight brightness. tft panels are stupidly bright and consume nothing in terms of energy.

i guess android 11 is still behind in this regard :/

cause i got complaints before on some of my posts that they aren't color-blind people friendly, so i had to scramble on how to adress that.

This feature is long overdue, Lemmy is getting distracting, especially with worthless replies.

Ran a search & didn't see a thread on this, although there may be a Git issue raised on the subject. Nevertheless, I think it would be nice to have a setting from the profile & per post/comment to mute notifications for replies to posts or comments, as desired.

On Reddit there was no such account-level option so far as I'm aware, so you basically had to make it a habit to disable reply notifications on every, single, post & comment if you didn't want to see your inbox/notifications lit up.

I know this may be a little counter-intuitive, but after awhile I honestly don't want to see that someone randomly replied to one of my comments or posts from who knows how long ago. In the cases that I might, though, I'd leave the notifications on, of course.

like all old century inventions, the thing isn't sustainable since fresh water is finite, and the next thing close to regenerating those fresh reserves is energy-hungry desalination. might as well adress the problem head-on and power the canal with a power plant to actively fill the locks with sea water..but since its run by a third world country, i doubt they would do anything about it and instead act complacent and let things run their course

its a whole cult out there, the sync community. Also sync was released almost 2 months ago charging 2$ per month or 20$ per year with no major feature upgrades in sight. In the third party app realm, the more ,the merrier: I dont find sync intuitive, and Connect dev is on vacay, plus Boost loads way more feed than the latter. The rest of apps aren't much pleasing for me, and ios apps are just lemmy apps for vegans or something..I dont know if any others 3p devs would join like Bacon reader or relay

lets see how this would pan out. also europeans didn't make their ariane rockets as profitable as spacex did, and never achieved booster vertical landing. Spacex has a record of delivering on their promises, so they kinda should be taken seriously. europeans are busy unionizing and fighting for 35 hour work weeks.

Check intervalls like 60 seconds or something. And font size since i dont feel comfortable reading small font. Thanks.

Title. Also ty Dev! app was really long awaited :)

I like to control the network bandwidth of each process/app on my linux, both ways (download, and upload), as well as my pc overall bandwidth. is that achievable on Linux ? Thanks
