Beat Saber on PC so you can add basically any track you want is the way to go.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

You can also do it on quest but not ps as far as I know

So anything from Bushiroad.

Metal: Hellsinger was the best Rhythm Game ever. I never found something like it and I hate that it was so short and has little replay value :(

i quite like Project Diva: Megamix personally

(also that xkcd link is very sneaky lol)

I can vouch for DJ Max Respect. It's their first PC release with a load of original songs, plenty of DLC collabs, and an absolute massive dlc backlog from the past decade of portable versions.

The game is korean made, and the music fits many genres overall, but I have yet to truly dislike anything on the playlist for the sounds.. It has cosmetic season passes, which who cares, competitive multiplayer, and even a chill mode in which you can't fail as it randomly just plays through songs.

Oldschool Runescape is a rhythm game

That text is too high-def for that meme; the juxtaposition is jarring

I'm sorry, I usually try to find the highest quality version but now I can't unsee it

HiFi rush is basically a devil may cry rhythm game. Hell devil may cry itself is basically a rhythm game when trying to get SSS ranks.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

I love rhythm games, the problem is most of the ones I'm interested in are gacha. I ain't paying for png lottery.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Never heard the word omg lottery before. Thanks for that.

I play Arcaea, it's free to download and the free songs are pretty good and there is a lot of DLC with some real bangers. The most difficult song I beat was 9+.

I recommend pistol whip for exercise as well, there's so much movement with all of the dodging, it's some good cardio imo

Mad Rat Dead is one of my favorite games in years, it's a rhythm platformer on PS4 and Switch. Literally every track in game is an absolute banger!

Any fellow Everhood enjoyers?

I used to play Audiosurf for every new CD I bought. Good times.
