The problem with AI is that since the beginning companies have focused on automating stuff that nobody complained about: ok you automated chess and go, thank you and fuck you for ruining the games we were most proud of; ok now you automated drawing and shitposting, thank you again. Can we stop automating pleasurable activities and start automating the really boring, risky and unhealthy ones?

No, we can't. But we can make sure the development of automation of pleasurable tasks is as horrendously traumatising as possible. <~~ the probably actual mindset of some ai ceos and maybe devs.
