How is this invading someone's privacy? All it's doing is detecting if children are smoking in a room or space at school and then putting an alert up about the detection on a screen.

They have zero right to privately smoke at school, or anywhere for that matter, smoking is illegal for children and not something to be taken lightly.

Similarly, adults have no right to privately smoke whilst in the workplace in the bathroom or other non-smoking designated areas. This is also illegal and not to be taken lightly.

That’s why we live in a nanny state exactly that reason.

Do... do you think we all live in the same state?

(let's not start thinking the world revolves around us like some Americans do)

There's almost 200 countries in the world, how many are nanny states, I wonder? Interesting thought actually!

I'm missing something here, because I keep seeing posts like this one that have no content. No images, no videos, not a text post, it's just the title "What doesn't kill ya" with no explanation.

I see all other posts elsewhere fine, it seems to just be posts in this one community, or from this one user maybe? I'm not sure.

I'm on Boost if that makes any difference...

there didn't seem to be any [...] imbalance of power

Ah yes, I'm sure those old women were cleverly hiding their assault rifles and military training, and that there wad in fact a balance of power between both groups - the old, unarmed women, and the truck of young armed military men.

I'm not saying they were being awful or anything, I do agree with you overall, just that there's a clear imbalance of power here is all, and even if they aren't pressing they power, it exists.

Even if it were 10 strapping young lads talking to the military fellas there'd still be an imbalance of who has the power between both groups, because one side has guns and knives and knows how to use 'em.

Haha yes it's a strong possibility that I have both, going off what I've learned these past few years of research and community involvement!

It's going to be a looong time before I can get checked for autism though as I'm poor, so for now I just have to wait and wonder :-)

Oh my, no. This is like a list of the worst things for me.

I can't concentrate on something if they're are voices in the background, my brain forces me to focus on the voices, I can't tune them out to focus on my main task.

So when I'm working, music helps me focus a little, but it MUST not have vocals. No-Vocals Vaporwave/Synthwave is my jam.

I could never watch two films at the same time, or have a podcast on while I'm trying to watch a film, etc, I hate distractions and background noises while I'm trying to focus on a film.

If I tried to watch two films at once... my brain would just be overwhelmed and I'd be able to watch neither.

I also hate noise in general and cherish blissful silence, so while I do run a fan when it gets very hot, I do my best to avoid it.

Quiet silence is best, the more things like noise assault my senses the more I feel oppressed in my own brain.

If you're not capable of dictating what appears in your own company's product, maybe that's something to rethink?

Why would you think it can only be pronounced with an "uh" at the end? Where did that come from?

I could be wrong about how she uses her name of course, but I would pronounce it Cam-ahl-a, nothing the hard a at the end, as in apple.

We don't say uhpple, we say apple.

That's not the case in the UK, your annual leave is a legal entitlement, and unrelated to any sick time you may have to take.

The workers of your nation need to organise a few general strikes to get their basic rights sorted out, I don't like seeing workers abused.

Hello fellow Boosters! :-D

Apologies if I'm missing something obvious here, 😅 I saved a comment I'd like to go back to the other day but don't recall exactly what it was (darn my poor ADHD memory), and so I wanted to scroll through my saved/favourited comments to find it.

When I go to the "Saved" tab it lets me scroll through saved posts, but I can't find any way to switch to scrolling through saved comments, so I'm not sure how I'd go about finding them?

Thanks!
